I do enjoy the listserv and while I do not participate I do make use of the information and pass it along to the distance learning folks in Colorado. Our College has a distance learning program and we serve about 1500-1700 students each semester, with around 1000 students taking online classes.
Part of my reason for writing is that in Colorado all the community colleges participate in a consortium (TELECOOP) to further distance learning and we host a faculty conference every spring, in April. I would like to post our announcement to WAOE if you think it would be appropriate [it's done!]. We always welcome speakers/presenters from all over the world who are involved in distance learning.
